The Code of Christmas Clothes

 

Weather it be a sweater your grandmother knitted or primarks newest christmas tops

 

So some people think christmas tops are geeky but I just love getting in the christmas spirit by wearing my Primark special christmas tops.

 

There does seem to be some rules to wearing them though..

For example people wouldnt normally even think of wearing a christmas jumper after Christmas wich is understandable I mean the day we were waiting for has now past and we are back to waiting .. but with 364 days too go, I think it would be a bit early in the year to wear a christmas top in January.

 

 Other people say before Halloween is too early too wear them and often start wearing the embarrassing knitted sweater your great aunt Edeth got them last christmas from the first day of november..

 

I myself dont start wearing my christmas tops until the 3rd or 4th week of November and honestly only wear them around the house or around my very english friends as in Spain christmas isnt such a big thing..

 

I dont seem to be able to find a way to dress my tshirts up but they are just tshirts so i tend to just wear them with jeans or leggins. If you have a certain way you wear your christmas sweaters or tshirts let me know :)

Scarves

2 of my favourite things of fall fashion are scarves .. & boots

 

I think a scarf is a fun way to add an accessory to an outift, not only do they come in different colours but there is so many ways to style it.

 

my top 3 ways to wear a scarf:

1. Infinity
2. The modern one loop

3. Loose celebrity scarf

 

With different shape scarves you can achieve a completely different look to your outfit weather if be for fashion or too keep you warm.. I always get compliments on how i style an outfir with a scarf and how i dont just wrap it around my neck but style it too my outift.


Boots
Same as the scarf boots can change your whole outfit,  I often turn too my fake uggs for confort in the Winter but i also love my slightly more dressed up boots.

My favourites being some brown ankle boots that have sparkles and spikes from the ankle up, in such a fall colour they often add some style to my outfit or pull it together ..

I dont wear dollies or trainers in Winter (unless im going to the gym of which i will chick on some pumps or high tops) so from now till spring most of my outfits will consist of my same 4 pairs of boots ( 2 fake uggs and 2 ankle ( one black & one brown))

Fall Fashiion | Socks & Skirts

So Fall is here wich means actually wearing clothes..

Last week it was still 40 degrees and laying in bikinis all day, this week it has been under 20 degress wich means a big drop in a short period of time.

Along with figuring out what to wear rather than chucking on some shorts i have been trying to dress for fall rather than for Winter as when it gets to Winter and the tempreture drops again i dont want to be all wrapped up and feeling cold but i also dont want to be dressing too summery now and feeling cold..

So today i wore a burgandy skirt, in the most beautiful fall color, and so i wasnt too cold added some over the knee socks and some ankle boots.. What i feel is the perfect combination for this time off year :)

When i first got dressed i felt like a preppy school girl, but i really do love the outfit (makes me sound so vain)

I then added my jacket wich again is something i wore in primary school but really do love.. not too fancy but not casual either ..

Im hoping to soon do a fall lookbook so keep an eye out :)

Beauty Blogger in the making

How easy really is it to become a beauty blogger?!

So Along side my blog I have a YouTube channel, Mainly focusing on beauty and fashion I was wondering how easy it really is to become a beauty blogger..

So many girls or ladies seem to do beauty blogging, weather it be as a hobby or a job I always thought it was interesting..

So... seeing as my YouTube ( PumpkinPatchBeauty ..  if you want to check it out) is a hobby for me, mainly focusing on beauty and fashion I really havent taken it too seriously .. I often tell my friend I want to earn money off of it and turn Beauty blogging and YouTube videos into my job..

Looking into Fashion promotions on my instagram ( LexiieX ) and getting serious with my videos along with  wanting to make my blog more a place where teenage girls and Ladies of all ages and backgrounds can be entertained and inspired by my fashion and thoughts ..

So.. starting a fresh or at least trying..

I shall be posting ootds and pictures of fashion I like on here.. wheather it be statement pieces or make up for lazy days.

My YouTube will be getting at least 1 video a week even if it is a quick ootd or ootn

And teres not really much to change on my instagram as I am constantly on it.. hopefully I will be able to do some promotional pictures for some online shops or boutiques.

Why I´ve Decided to post blogs

Getting Myself Started

Back in June 2011 I set up a youtube channel where I posted pretty much anything I wanted, It started off well but then I realised I needed to stick to one type of content.

So after finding out my friend had also signed up to make youtube videos we satrted doing videos together, I tried sticking to the beauty side doing OOTD ( Outfit of the day) videos or whats in my handbag but with studying and working I did not have enough time to carry on making videos. 

After I left school and switched jobs I decided I would restart my videos, But start from scratch, A new channel, a new name, a new image and thats how Pumpkin Patch Beauty started in 2012. 

Working 3 jobs and not even having time for myself so had to stop making videos yet again (i know i dont sound committed) . 

Now 19 I have decided to really commit myself to my youtube channel, also making this blog and keeping up with the videos and comments left on them. 

I may only have 3 subscribers at the minute buy i hope as I increase the content and the quality I will gain viewers and that i really can insipre and help people as much as youtubers like Zoella, Bethany Mota and Sammi from Beauty Crush have inspired me.

I dont want to be a copy or a clone, I´m happy with who i am.  My spelling may not be great but i try to be the best I can be.
